/files/Images/Misc Pix 2012/Mission Pix/CouncilonAging.jpgHosting Wednesday Council on Aging Program.... We are now hosting a weekly a lunch and activity program for seniors every Wednesday in our fellowship hall.  Lunch will be provided by the Council's Community Partners, and participants would enjoy a variety of activities.    As the program continues, volunteers will be sought from our congregation to help make this happen.  Mary Rasp is our "point person" for this project, with Ruth Linton and Leslie Greising helping this summer when Mary cannot be there.  For further information or to help, please call the church office or contact Mary, Ruth, or Leslie.

Thank you to those who helped in this year’s Habitat for Humanity Elkhart Building on Faith project, the Romero home.  If you wish to do further work on this house, here are some other opportunities to volunteer in June  There will be painting on Wednesday (27), and then Thursday (28), Friday (29), and Saturday (30), will be trim and finishing work.  The Romero house is next door to 1716 Elizabeth Street. Please let Braden McCormick, Jennifer Pitcher, or Cinda in the office know if you will be planning to help.

Another build starts July 11 and we have information if you are interested in helping with that home!  Check out the bulletin board by the Gathering Place to see pictures and the July schedule, or call Keith Gassman at Habitat: 533-6109.
