A gift to the Pentecost Offering helps the church encourage, develop, and support its young people, and also address the needs of at-risk children.
40% of FPC’s offering will be retained by us, and given to benefit Geneva Center.
The remaining 60% is used to support ministries of the Presbyterian Church (USA) Mission Agency for: Young Adult Volunteers, Ministries for Youth, and Children-at-Risk.
Please support this worthy cause as the Spirit leads you. Special envelopes will be in our worship spaces for this purpose.
Our offering will be dedicated on Pentecost Sunday, June 4, in our combined service at 10 AM. The red flames in our logo symbolize the Holy Spirit - which touched Jesus’ Disciples on the first Pentecost (Acts 1: 2-3). Christian tradition encourages the wearing of something red that day!

Pastor Rebecca invites and encourages our attending a special free 2-hour workshop at South Bend’s Sunnyside P.C. Sat. May 20 from 9:30 - 11:30 AM EDT, with focus on enhanced practices for a Healthy Congregation.
Who may attend?: Any FPC member who loves our church, and wishes to get some practical, creative ideas on how we might enhance and energize our congregational life together. Especially during our time of pastoral transition, the more of us who seek out ways we might revitalize church life - the better!
Session members, Deacons, Vision Team members, and other leaders are especially urged to attend. Who knows what ideas the Lord might lead us to, in a larger body of faithful Presbyterians?
Where is it?: Sunnyside Presbyterian Church, South Bend, IN: 115 S. Frances St. 46617. This event is put on by our Presbytery, and is free of charge. No advance registration is necessary.
