![]() A Walk to Bethlehem is a self-guided spiritual encounter that takes participants through a series of interactive prayer stations located in Fellowship Hall, exploring the events surrounding Jesus’ birth. Each person will move through the worship stations at their own pace. You may enter any time between 11:00 — 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and should plan on approximately 45-60 minutes for this worship experience. The event is open to the community, so please invite your friends and neighbors. The prayer walk will also be open Sunday morning at 9:30 and will serve as the Bridge worship time. Parents, this Encounter is a great opportunity for you to explore the events of Christ’s birth with your children. The experience would be most appropriate for elementary age and older children. However, we ask that they are accompanied by an adult throughout each station and that your family respect the quiet environment that this experience requires for others to encounter Christ at this season. Also, Mary Freed and the Nursery Staff are planning to offer childcare through the day, with some extra craft activities for the kids. So, parents of younger children can drop them off and still enjoy the Prayer Walk (and maybe even a bit of shopping afterward). You can help!

I would like to thank everyone that helped out with Trunk-or-Treat. We had a beautiful day for the event. There were 163 children who registered! Just a few more than I was planning for, so that was great. Before it started, I thought that we had more than enough candy, and we used every piece of it. So, thank you to all who brought in candy. Also, thank you to everyone that decorated their cars, they looked wonderful. All of the volunteers that helped inside stayed very busy, also, and I owe a huge thanks to all of you. Thank you so much for making it so successful.

Keep it Simple and Sacred - Sundays at 10:45 a.m.
Every year it is a race
to see who can do Christmas bigger and better. But where is the reason for this
celebration? This study will look at the traditions for celebrating Advent and
Christmas and their origins and offer alternatives that bring the simplicity and
sacredness of the season back to the forefront of our minds. Class began on
November 18.

Dear Presbyterian Women and Men:
It's that time of year when we come begging for your help! The Cookie Walk
is Presbyterian Women's only fundraiser, and as you know these funds are
used entirely for mission. What you may not know is that Wabash Valley
Presbyterian Women are the fifth highest givers in the Presbyterian Church,
USA.
We are extremely grateful for all the help and participation that you have
provided to us in the past, and hope that you will have the time to help us
again this year.
We
are planning an all church Cookie Bake on the evening of
November 27 at
6:00 p.m. in the kitchen. We always have a great time! We are in need of
more empty (coffee) cans and will accept the plastic kind as well as the
metal ones.
The Specialty Table will happily accept your homemade breads, candies, fancy
cookies, gingerbread houses, and anything like that, that your talent can
provide.
And as usual, we'll have some beautiful hand-made items to raffle.
The Drop-Off Day is Friday, December 7,
beginning at 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The Cookie Walk,
December 8, will open promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, and
end promptly at 12:00 noon.
Tell your neighbors and friends about it so we can sell out on Saturday.
Thank you in advance for all your help!

![]() Thank you
I really appreciate all that everyone has done for me since my surgery!
The beautiful flowers, cards, prayers, meals, and caring card are all so
appreciated! Because of some complications I will be leaving over the
weekend and flying back to New Orleans for an emergency surgery on
Monday. It is surgery to drain the mastectomy side of excess blood that
has been draining and causing problems! Thank you once again for all
your prayers and support!
